- The Covid-19 outbreak had no impact on the household finances of just under half of residents.
- Similar proportions of respondents reported that the outbreak had a positive (26%) and a negative (28%) impact on their household finances.
People in the 25-44 year old age groups were hardest hit; Covid-19 had a negative impact on the household finances for over a third of them. Older age groups were least affected.
Males were more likely to report a positive impact whilst females felt it had a negative impact on their household finances.
Households with children suffered more from the outbreak; 40% reported that the outbreak had a negative impact on their household finances (compared to just 24% of those with no children).
