Have you been able to access the NHS services you need during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak?

Summary

  • 88% of respondents have either not tried to access NHS services (40%) or were able to access the services they needed (48%); 12% of the total sample could not access the NHS services they needed.
  • Females are more likely to have been able to access the NHS services they have needed and males are more likely not to have tried accessing NHS services. Little variation in reasons both genders could not access NHS services.
  • Respondents with a disability were far more likely to access NHS services and to have trouble accessing them.
  • People with disabilities in Portsmouth had trouble accessing their GP practice and hospital appointments during the outbreak compared to those without disabilities.
